How do I care for my garment?Updated 6 months ago

Sequins

  • Please always refer to the garment care label instructions.
  • We recommend that you only spot clean or dry clean sequinned items. Do not use steam or high heat.
  • We would advise you not to wear any jewellery with sharp edges as this may catch in the sequins.
  • We suggest storing lightly sequinned items in a garment bag or away from other garments that may catch such as crepes, knits and tulles.
  • We suggest storing heavily sequinned garments flat in a garment bag so that the garment does not stretch over time.

Claw stones & diamantes

  • Please always refer to the garment care label instructions.
  • We recommend that you only spot clean or dry clean diamanté or claw stoned items. Do not use steam or high heat.
  • Take care as the setting of the claw stone / diamantés could snag delicate fabrics.
  • We suggest that you store any claw stoned or diamanté items in a garment bag or away from other garments that may catch such as crepes, knits and tulles.

Plastic

  • Please refer to the garment care label instructions.
  • We recommend that you spot clean plastic garments only. Do not use steam or high heat.
  • We suggest storing heavily plastic garments flat in a garment bag so that the garment does not stretch over time.

Crepe

  • Please always refer to the garment care label instructions.
  • We recommend that you dry clean or spot clean crepe fabrics.
  • Take care as crepe fabrics may catch if placed next to claw stone or diamanté items and we suggest that you avoid wearing sharp edged jewellery / bags.

Ostrich Feathers

  • Please always refer to the garment care label instructions.
  • We recommend that you spot clean or dry clean only. Some of our garments will have a removable trim for easier laundering.
  • Dyed feathers may leave traces on skin/ light coloured fabrics.
  • Ostrich feathers may have a natural colour variation and imperfection.

Knitwear

  • Please always refer to the garment care label instructions.
  • We recommend that you spot clean or dry clean only.
  • Take care as knitted fabrics may catch if placed next to claw stone or diamanté items and we suggest that you avoid wearing sharp edged jewellery / bags.
  •  Some of our garments will have a removable trim for easier laundering.

Beading

  • Please always refer to the garment care label instructions.
  • We mostly use glass beads so these cannot be dry cleaned. We recommend that you spot clean only.
  • We suggest storing heavily beaded garments flat in a garment bag so that the garment does not stretch over time.

Satin

  • Please always refer to the garment care label instructions.
  • We recommend that you dry clean only, as spot cleaning will leave water marks.
  • Take care as satin fabrics may pull if placed next to claw stone or diamanté items and we suggest that you avoid wearing sharp edged jewellery / bags.

Natural Fibres

  • Please always refer to the garment care label instructions.
  • Natural fibre may have natural imperfections such as slubbing. This is a normal texture, adds character to the fabric and cannot be avoided.
